Resumen: Since the issuance of Writ 092 of 2008 by Colombia’s Constitutional Court , an important process of articulation and collective work has taken place between the organizations that promoted its drafting, and other international organizations and bodies which have joined the process since then. Without question, one of the writ’s most important aspects was the direct involvement of the organized civil society-specifically, the organizations that defend the rights of women victims of the conflict-within the follow-up process to the orders issued in said ruling. The organizations, in turn, have accepted the Court’s invitation with determination, carrying out the monitoring job to a level that the tribunal would have never expected. Consequently, the level of dialogue between women’s organizations and the Court has been constant, even though compliance of the orders by the various state institutions has experienced a series of obstacles that risked, and continue to risk, true efficacy ofthe Court’s decision in Writ 092 of2008.
